Haji Banda Hasan was born in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) in 1948. His journey was full of struggle and challenges. He faced unenviable circumstances in Saharanpur. His inspiring journey started when he left Saharanpur in 1960.

Khan Market

1972

In 1972, Haji Banda Hasan put a stall in a fair at Pragati Maidan. There he met Mr. Khanna who owned Alfina restaurant. Mr. Khanna loved his food and offered him to put a stall in Khan Market. He took a leap of faith and set up a small stall selling mutton seekh kebab and chicken tikka.
